WHS VA SOL students were asked to read and judge elementary school submissions to the Sonoma County Farm Bureau Recipe Contest. Upon review, VA SOL students determined that Mrs. Szczech’s 2nd grade class from St. Rose School should be declared the winners for creating a healthy snack composed of locally grown ingredients. VA SOL students then recreated the 2nd grade class’s recipe and documented the progress in a video created by VA SOL students. The video was shown during the annual Sonoma County Farm Bureau Crab Feed Dinner.
